With the partnership of Vera's Kitchen Desta, a phenomenal Ethiopian restaurant located in Manassas, VA, we successfully hosted a raffle and restaurant fundraiser on May 11. Attendees enjoyed delicious traditional cuisine, engaged with community members, and were able to participate in a raffle with prizes such as Chipotle and Amazon gift cards. 30% of the proceedings from the restaurant and 100% of the raffle money went towards school supplies for the schools in Ethiopia.
