On October 29, we successfully hosted our first ever fundraiser at Debre Medehanit Eyesus Ethiopian Ortodox Tewahido Church. With the help of our members, donors, and customers, we were able to raise over $700 selling Ethiopian and American treats like sambusa, pasti, dabo kolo, brownies, cookies, chips, and drinks! All proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing school supplies for Ethiopian schools in need and sponsoring other fundraisers. Big thanks to all who came and supported us! We look forward to continuing our partnership with the church and hosting more fundraisers in the future.
